April-Skye has lived on Garren Creek Rd for almost all 16 years of her life with her family and her cat, Nymphadora, who is the next best thing to a best friend.

Some of her passions include cooking and baking, spending time with friends, and lounging in the sun. She is a junior at A.C. Reynolds High, and has aspirations to attend NC State when she graduates. She has played the bagpipes since she was 7 years old, and has marched at the Highland Games in Boone, NC several times.

April-Skye has helped the Garren Creek Foundation since the formation. She helps coordinate youth programming, and youth volunteers for the foundation.
